We have had such an amazing group of clients this last wedding season and are so excited for each and every one of our weddings we get to share with you! EVERY year we have been in business has been absolutely amazing, and we continue to pinch ourselves daily that we get to work with such amazing people every weekend! Here is one of our more recent weddings up at Wise Villa Winery, and it was amazing! Take a look!!
This couple is the sweetest and goofiest couple we have had all year and we loved every minute of it! We stalked their wedding website and found their love story… Not gonna lie, I just pasted it below because is so dang cute and gives you such a clear picture of who this couple is I couldn’t say it better myself!
From the bride:
“We both reached down for the same bag of kale and looked up, locked eyes, and sparks flew......ok. Not really. But it's fun see the looks on people's faces when we tell them that. Brittan and I both met on Tinder, as single people do in 2016. I was sitting at home drinking wine and watching Harry Potter with my dog, LIVING MY BEST LIFE, when we both happened to swipe right on each other. I actually almost swiped left on him because he had KCCO written on it which gave me douchey frat boy vibes. However, as I swiped through his pictures, I came across one where he was in the middle of this laugh with beer spilling down his hand and his smile was too good pass up. You see, when Brittan smiles, it takes up his entire face. I can't get enough of it.”
From the groom:
“I'm not sure how many of you have heard of this rare app known as Tinder, but apparently it is used to help align the stars and introduce you to your soulmate, or for others, a different kind of "mate". Well it just so happened that Kayla and I matched, I was drawn in by her nerdy personality, her blonde hair, and her love for Harry Potter. I through out a perfect opening line, something like "Hi, How are you?" and after that she didn't stand a chance. Over the next few hours of messaging we stumbled upon the fact that we actually would become co-workers, and with the next day being my very first day on my new base, I was going to make it a mission to stop by her office! I remember waking up the next day very excited, not for work, but for the chance to actually meet Kayla. I walked into her office with the impression that she would melt in her seat once she laid eyes on me, but instead, she refused to make eye contact and ignored my presence, you could say I instantly fell for her. Just 4 days later we had our first date at House of Oliver, I remember listening to her tell me about herself, her aspirations, her love for Murphy (our fur-baby), her horrible taste in sport teams, and thinking to myself that this is the person I was placed on this earth for, I knew from date number one, that it was all over, I had met the love of my life.”
Love this first look!! You can’t go wrong with a first look, they are always fun and give you some alone time to take a little of the stress out of your day! If you are on the fence about a first look, here are some things to consider, click here!
We love how unique each of our couples are, and how even as big and lonely as our world can seem sometimes, its a lot smaller than we think, and the person we love might be down the hall from us, across the restaurant from us, or even the newest employee at our work, we just have to be open to it!
At the house where the couple got ready there was this awesome view and an amazing vintage couch… clearly we had to use it for pictures! What I love most about these two is how they can put on that model strike a pose, but in the end they always end up giggling and laughing at each other, its contagious!
Our bride told us “Everything is winery inspired! We've been to this winery tons of times so it means a lot to us. We will be hand making the signs for the wedding as well as having an area set up for those who have passed who could not make it to the wedding.” So many cute touches sprinkled around this venue, it was a great showcase of the couple and their personalities!
…And yes you did see that right, a full grown flower guy, and he definitely rocked his job, he might be putting your little nieces out of a job! ;)
After a whirlwind of a year these two took the step to get engaged and plan their dream wedding! As you can see this intimate ceremony was perfect for them, surrounded by their closest family and friends and filled with laughter and tears!
As you can see the day, the speeches and everyone surrounding these two was just pure joy and an abundance of love! Another reason we love our job… how can you even be in a bad mood when you are constantly surrounded by that type if day?! Its really not fair… sorry, not sorry… ;)
Cruising the vineyards on this gorgeous night was so fun with them, full of laughter and kisses, they made it too easy!
As a last minute request we asked if they would be open to doing their first dance out on the blacktop where the sun was setting, and luckily the agreed, because this was not only an adorable first dance, but with the view, the sunset, and the awesome summer colors, it was definitely the kick off to a great night!
The rest of the night was filled with more fun, laughter, cake and a lot of DANCING! Such a fun night, and we are so happy for these two!
