This was a gorgeous wedding that took place in the hills of Sonoma County up at the Mountain House Estate in Cloverdale. The wedding was full of vintage glamour and beautiful colors, it was so romantic and luxurious we didn’t want to leave!
Amber had two dresses and two pairs of shoes, which we LOVED!! Both were gorgeous but very different, her first dress she said that her grandmother helped pick out, (so you know it was going to be a good one,) it was the perfect Cinderella dress, and her second was a form fitting glitz and glam dress which made me think of the 1920’s!
Being pet lovers, (the bride owns her own dressage business helping train horses) of course these two would have their puppies in the wedding! These kiddos were troopers walking down the steps with the pups and their wedding accessories!
Mountain House Estate has a few areas to get married on the property, but this huge Oak tree was an awesome choice! It was a great backdrop, so much so they really didnt need to add any decoration, but they did add a few clear globes to add some elements, which were on point!
Time for puppy portraits!! If you are ever curious about bringing your dog to your engagement session or your wedding, dont be shy, we love animals!! Weddings are all about YOU and your own unique take on the day, so if having your sweet little puppy involved makes your day complete, then who are we to stop you!? And look how cute!!
Portrait sessions are always one of our favorite parts of the day, we get to take the couple away from some glamour shots, and when they are after the ceremony it really is the happiest time of the day, the stress is gone, nerves are all taken care of, leaving pure joy and happiness!! Having a photographer who can help bring out your happiness and joy on your wedding day is not something to be overlooked, its the whole reason we’re there, right?!
Can we take a minute and talk about the Rolls Royce here!? Sooooo awesome, not only was it red leather inside, but the outside was the perfect addition to the wedding photos with its gorgeous white finish against the greenery behind! yowza!
Table settings… one of our other favorite things about the wedding day, I know it seems odd huh?? But I love seeing the unique take on each table… Amber went with muted blues and succulents for most of her foliage, and then adding in the copper/rose gold silverware and chargers made the colors pop so well but with a modern twist!!
The reception was beautiful, it was nestled on the back patio, but between the tables, the sunsetting, and the great weather it made a very warm and welcoming first night for this duo! Also… did you spot Ambers dress change?! SO awesome!
Now lets get down to business with this cake cutting, have you ever seen a cake cut by a SWORD? Yeah us either… but it…was…EPIC!!!
This was a great wedding with a fun party, it was smaller, intimate and the perfect setting to start married life together and we were so grateful to be part of it!!
