We had so much fun with these two love birds out at Soul Food Farm in Vacaville! The weather was beautiful, the grounds were awesome and unique and of course these cuties were the best part!!
One reason we love getting to do engagement sessions is that is enables us to get to know our couples before the wedding, and it also helps them get all of their nerves out about photography. We hear it countless times from our couples that they don't think they look good in front of the camera, or that they are awkward, but if you ask me none of our couples look bad, and awkward is the last thing that pops up when I scroll through our sessions, wouldn't you agree?!
These two told us about their love story and its so cute! It actually reminds me a bit of our story... they kind of knew each other in high school but then saw each other afterwards and really hit it off, timing was right when it was right, and look at them now!!
Jon and I have a similar story, we were friends in college, then I moved away for a different school and after a few years of staying in contact we finally hit it off when our schedules aligned and the rest is history! Sometimes waiting is the best formula for a great relationship!
This old truck was the best, I absolutely loved it and it worked great with their style! It totally fit them, and added a whole new element to this country shoot!
This is my favorite part of the session, this little grove of lavender! Sp perfect with the sun setting and giving us that list glimmer of light on the hills above!
I absolutely love this shoot, and cannot wait to photograph and film their wedding next spring!! Its going to be amazing, stay tuned!
